Ash Harris

Ash attended the University of West England where she studied Environmental Science. After graduating university she has held a number of positions across the ecological industry including ecological consultant, local authority ecologist and species officer for Natural Resources Wales. Ash is a Full member for the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management. She also holds survey licences for bats, dormouse and great crested newts.

Ash enjoys undertaking voluntary work and is an active member of her local bat groups. In her spare time, she enjoys running and dance classes.



 

Rich Watkins

Rich is an ecologist specialising in bats and has held a bat license since 2012. He also has extensive experience of working at height and has been an IRATA level 3 rope access technician since 2004. Rich is also qualified to work in confined spaces.  He has worked on projects directly for a number of Local Authorities and top construction and planning companies as well directly to architects and  home owners. Rich has a number of strengths including being a great communicator, he is understanding and pragmatic.  

When not working Rich loves to travel in his spare time ,climbing, walking, scuba diving. He also enjoys doing voluntary bat work and bat care. 



Lee Gregory

Lee joined the team at Ecological Services Ltd in 2022 as an ecologist making a career change turning ecology from a passion to career. Lee has been undertaking ornithological surveys and species protection for 35 years, Lee is a fully trained A Permit Bird Ringer for the British Trust for Ornithology with several schedule 1 species permits, Lee has worked as Assistant Warden of Fair Isle and Dungeness Bird Observatories, Lee's ecological surveys cover a wide spectrum of taxa including; Botany, Mammals, Entomology, Reptiles and Amphibians.


Hannah Evans

Hannah joined Ecological Services in April 2022 after being a sub-contractor for a number of years. Hannahs main passion in ecology is the survey work and preservation of our native bat species. She undertakes a variety of bat activity surveys across South Wales. Hannah is an ecologist working towards her bat licence and is happy to work on any bat related project. She organises survey teams, leads on activity surveys and helps design appropriate bat mitigation and compensation specific to the project impacts.
