Otters

The European otter (Lutra lutra) is a British favourite usually seen along river, streams and wetland areas across the country. The otter is omnivore and one of our top predators predating fish, amphibians and crustaceans for example. Otters are excellent swimmers and well adapted for life in and around the water.
